1、 Be careful of hard objects
Do not let the hard metal products or other sharp tools collide with the furniture to protect its surface from bruises. Do not scratch the furniture with hard cleaning tools during sanitary maintenance.
2、 Keep away from heat and sunlight
In winter, it is better to place the furniture about 1 meter away from the warm current, such as the radiator or the air outlet of the air conditioner, so as to avoid local cracking, deformation or local deterioration of the paint film of the solid wood furniture after being baked by the heat source for a long time. Of course, don’t let the sun shine directly on the furniture.
3、 To maintain surface cleanliness
The surface of solid wood furniture is coated with paint, so the maintenance of its paint film is particularly important. Once the paint film is damaged, it will not only affect the appearance of the surface, but also further affect the internal structure of the product. Therefore, the furniture should always be kept clean. Every day, the floating dust on the surface should be gently wiped off with a pure cotton dry cloth. Every once in a while, the accumulated dust at every corner of the furniture should be carefully wiped off with a wet cotton cloth that wrinks the moisture, and then wiped off with a clean dry soft cotton cloth. You can also apply a thin layer of high-quality polish wax after drying, and gently wipe it to give luster like leather. This not only maintains the solid wood furniture, but also increases its luster. However, the selection of polish wax must be careful, and inferior products containing chemical corrosion components must not be used.
4、 Avoid alcohol gasoline
If there is any stain on the surface of the furniture, do not wipe it vigorously. Use warm water to gently remove the stain. After the moisture volatilizes, apply a little light wax on the original part, and then gently rub it for several times to form a protective film. Please avoid using alcohol, gasoline or other chemical solvents to remove stains, so as not to damage the furniture.
5、 Be alert to humid environment
In summer, the indoor humidity is high, especially on the first floor. It is advisable to use thin film to separate the parts of the furniture that contact the ground. At the same time, try not to make the furniture close to the wall, but keep a distance of 0.5cm~1cm from the wall.
6、 Water locking treatment is required
Not only wipe with wet cloth, but also choose professional furniture care essential oil. Some special ingredients contained in the essential oil can lock the moisture in the wood, prevent drying and deformation, nourish the wood, make the wood furniture glow from inside to outside, and more importantly, prolong the service life of the wood furniture. In addition, although some carved solid wood furniture is more beautiful, it should also pay attention to dust prevention during use. Especially when the indoor air is dry, the carved furniture is more likely to be stained with ash, and it should be wiped with a semi wet towel frequently.
